At its 60th edition, the SIA International Hospitality Exhibition will host numerous important companies, leading brands in their specific business sectors: cooking, furniture, decor and supplies, technology, bathrooms and wellness, illumination, floor and wall coverings and services.
 
The exhibition, held with the support of Federalberghi and the AIPI Italian Association of Interior Designers, will host leading companies, which will draw trade members from all over Italy and abroad, and will occupy the WEST WING of the Rimini expo centre, with admission via the south and west entrances.
 
In Halls A7, C5 and C7, it will be possible to admire the new products and the best in furniture, decor, contract and interdecò proposed by brands of the calibre of MOROSO, LIUNI, PEDRALI, LEFABLIER and PANTHA GENERAL CONTRACTOR.
 
Hall C7 will reserve a space for technologies and services, the real barometer of how the hospitality industry is evolving. The players in this section will be brands such as MICRODEVICE, LG and SKY.
 
Hall A3 on the other hand will be completely reserved for bathrooms, wellness and ceramics and an all-round exhibition of this specific area, which is increasingly surprising and with which great care is taken in hotels. There, visitors will be able admire proposals from companies such as TECHNOGYM, STARPOOL, IDEAL STANDARD and REFIN.
 
Hall C1 and C3 will host the huge range of supplies that are and will be on the market, and the peculiarities of which will be showcased by firms famous for their professionalism, such as ALESSI, SAMBONET, RICHARD GINORI, RIVOLTA CARMIGNANI, LA BOTTEGA DELL'ALBERGO, WMF, VILLEROY AND BOCH, AMONN and ABERT.
 
Hall A1, on the other hand, will feature the whole sector of equipment and systems for food service. This is an invitation to a full-immersion in new technology and designer products for cooking. Here it will be possible to see products from companies such as GRUPPO ALI, BERTO'S, RATIONAL ITALIA, MIELE, EFFEDUE and the animation of an area by Boscolo Etoile Academy.
 
Hall A5 on the other hand will host SIA TREND, the new hall thought up to host experimentation and innovations in the design field for the hotel trade and collective spaces, an area in which business requirements and design trends are combined and expressed in a futuristic marketplace. SIA TREND is organized by Code magazine and has the patronage of Apulia Regional Government.
 
Lastly, the South foyer will host the Cooking event, organized by Suite magazine. Courses with the kings of cuisine. A combination of technology and food experience. Chefs, designers, general managers and the sector's opinion leaders will be the key players at six important round tables staged over the four days and alternated with technical workshops at which key chefs will present the sector's new technical products to visitors.

SIA GUEST 2010 SPECIAL INITIATIVES
 
From the experimentations of Simone Micheli with "BUBUF: Animal Friendly Hotel"
 to the appointments with NonSoloAlbergo and SIA Trend
 
SIA GUEST is Rimini Fiera's huge International Hospitality Exhibition and the event at which the entire hotel trade supply system showcases the innovation processes of which it is the key player. The following are some great special initiatives that will be featured at SIA GUEST 2010, as well as NonSoloAlbergo  and SIA Trend, which will be covered by later press releases.
 
BUBUF: Animal Friendly Hotel (Hall C5) - Architect Simone Micheli will create a full-scale Animal-Friendly Hotel, a new hospitality format, true experimentation, conceived to "safeguard the wellness and rights of animals and their human friends." Accommodation facilities respond to the growing need to travel with one's pet, without having to forgo the comforts of a superior class hotel. The prototype hotel will cover 1,600 m2 and feature foyer, reception, restaurant, wellness area, furnished suites, sales and display zones and outdoor area. The Animal-Friendly Hotel is the expression of a new culture of love for animals that provides effective responses to the hotel market demand. The project will be able to create a new culture of love for animals and provide credible effective responses to latent demands from the hotel market.
 
I LOVE MY WELLNESS: PRIMARY FUTURE ELEMENTS (Hall A3) - "Natural wellness that reawakens the senses" could be the subtitle of this area, in which the key players are water, wood, stone, coarse fabric, untreated materials used to create environments intended for body care and relaxation in hotels. In the I Love My Wellness area, visitors will be able to discover the "Water and salt SPA" by Blu Design Associates, which provides a wellness proposal based on water and salt, elements with high regenerating ability.
On the other hand, an atmosphere with dreamlike touches will be found in the expo area "Because WE(llness) - SUITE" by Corcione Tinucci Architects. "Wellness Suites" are the new frontier in luxury, a new interpretation of apartments in hotels. It will be a multi-coloured, bright interactive environment with aromas and music that stimulate the senses, giving a unique unforgettable stay.
 
B(H)TEL: sustainable hotel (Hal A7) - Hotel sustainability is at the core of this hospitality proposal, presented by architects Elisabetta Motta and Silvia Bruseghin. There will be a full-scale presentation of a new concept in hotels, which has been christened precisely "B(H)HOTEL and based on the harmony between naturalist references, innovative materials and concrete technologies for a sensorial trip. The final aim is to show that it really is possible to create a sustainable hotel, i.e. a "healthy welcoming venue that takes care of the physical wellness of its guests, but also that of its staff, whose management is based on a policy of cost optimization, reduction of waste and respect for the environment."
 
AIPI: EXHIBITION OF "WELCOME IN HOTEL" DESIGNS  (Hall A7) - The Italian Association of Interior Designers will show visitors to SIA GUEST the interior design projects of 105 professionals and 93 students from 13 Nations, who took part  in the spring in the International Contest "Welcome in hotel". The exhibition will enable to discover in what direction modern designers' taste and sensitivity is heading, when applied to the design of interiors in a portion of an existing building that has been abandoned and will become a hotel. Located in Riccione's old Reggiana seaside camp.
